Newly Elected Officials Orientation Program

Every municipal election cycle presents a chance to reach out to our newly elected officials to introduce them to different topics and issues. Newly elected and incumbent officials are invited to participate in this exceptional personal development and training opportunity. Session topics include: Ethics, Fiscal Management, Asset Management, Labor and Employment Issues and a Legislative Overview. Learn about the structure of our state government and how governance on a local level interacts with various state agencies as part of the State Agency Starter Kit session.

The room rate at the Wyndham Garden State College is $95 per night + 11% occupancy tax. Reservations must be made by January 14, 2022. The group booking code is: 020122THE. Reservations may be made by calling the hotel directly at: (814) 466-2255. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance or will be subject to a fee equal to one night’s room and tax. Cancellation Policy: A $50 administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations after Tuesday, January 18, 2022. NO refunds will be made after Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Cancellations must be in writing to Marcia Cavanagh, email@example.com
