Middlesex Township, Butler County, PA population 5,531, 23.2 square miles, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Township Manager. This is a highly visible position that reports to the Board of Supervisors and has overall management of this stable and developing community in a growing County. The Board is supportive of the role of Township Manager in managing the affairs of the Township in the areas of administration, code enforcement, public works, public safety, and land use planning. The Township Manager is the point of contact for the residents, as well as relied upon by the Board for strong positive leadership to assist the Board as it continues to prepare for continuing growth and development. The overall budget of the Township is $3.1M.
Candidates should have a four-year degree in public administration, a related field, or equivalent experience. Candidates shall understand Pennsylvania municipal law and have 3 years of municipal management experience. Candidates should exhibit strong communication and leadership skills, along with personnel management and supervisory experience.
