The Town of Bloomsburg has a full time salaried position available for a professional in our Finance Department.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university. A master’s degree or designation as a Certified Public Finance Official from the GFOA is preferred. At least Five (5) years’ experience in accounting where a minimum of three of those years are in municipal accounting. Experience with Freedom System software and Paychex a plus. Must be effective and organized while handling and analyzing accounting records and supervising a clerk.
Starting Salary ranges from $50k – $60k commensurate with experience plus a generous benefits package.
