From election to expertise – whether you are preparing for your first audit or looking to update and build a firm foundation for your term, this masterclass will guide you from day one to effective, accountable service. Learn how to reduce errors in coding and terminology and ensure not only a more accurate audit but also save time and build trust with stakeholders by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. The course emphasizes practical skills in oversight, reporting, and collaboration with local government officials within the unique context of Pennsylvania’s municipal structure.
Through interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and expert-led instruction, participants will explore the fundamentals of municipal finance, auditing procedures, legal obligations, and ethical standards.

CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY:
Cancellation must be received in writing to lla@pml.org within 72 hours prior to a class to be considered for a full refund.
If cancellation is received after the 72-hour window, a processing fee will be applied for a portion of the refund.
Those who do not cancel or attend forfeit the full registration fee.
