PA Municipal League Members named to Governor’s Advisory Commissions

Harrisburg, PA (December 9, 2025) – The Pennsylvania Municipal League is proud to announce that two of its members are serving on Governor Shapiro’s Advisory Commissions for the 2025-2027 term.

Brittany Forman, Borough Manager for Media Borough, has been appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs. Ms. Forman has served Media Borough for five years and has an extensive history in government and public policy.

Luis Campos, City Administrator for Easton, has been appointed as Chair of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs. Mr. Campos also served on this Advisory Commission under former Governor Ed Rendell and has been recognized as one of the top 100 Latino professionals in Pennsylvania.

“The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will greatly benefit from the leadership provided by Luis Campos and Brittany Forman in these roles as they have demonstrated excellence in their respective communities in the City of Easton and Media Borough,” said John S. Brenner, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Municipal League. “The Advisory Commissions on Latino Affairs and African American Affairs have an important function in elevating and amplifying the voices of our fastest-growing populations in Pennsylvania. Their addition will lead to greater collaboration with state government in all facets.”

The purpose of the Advisory Commissions is to gather information regarding Pennsylvania’s African American and Latino experiences and needs and review, evaluate, and assess programs that affect them. The Commissions also provide the Governor with information and recommendations regarding how best to meet their needs and provide information about programs and services that may be relevant to their needs.

The Commissions also serve as an extension of the Governor’s office in their respective communities and are responsible for communicating the priorities and accomplishments of the Governor and his Administration. This effort seeks to spread awareness and increase access to programs and services provided by the Commonwealth that benefit every-day Pennsylvanians.
