PEL Opens Application Window for Free and Low Cost Municipal Assistance
The Pennsylvania Economy League, a non-profit, nonpartisan public policy organization, has opened the application window for its Local Government Innovation Lab, a new statewide initiative to help communities tackle fiscal, operational and policy challenges, promote financial sustainability, and increase collaboration.
The Innovation Lab application portal on PEL’s website will be open from Nov. 20 to Dec. 31, 2025, for projects in 2026.
Up to two projects will be selected from each of the state’s five regions – Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest and Central.
PEL believes no community’s future should be defined by its ability to pay.
Throughout 2026, the Local Government Innovation Lab will provide selected partners with free, customized support to help local governments make smarter decisions, stretch limited resources, and avoid costly mistakes.
