The League Recognizes Wells Fargo with Community Partnership Award

Erie, PA (October 2, 2025) – Wells Fargo was recognized with the Pennsylvania Municipal League’s annual Community Partnership Award today during an Awards Breakfast held in conjunction with the association’s Municipal Leadership Summit in Erie.

“Congratulations to Wells Fargo for receiving the 2025 Community Partnership Award,” said League Executive Director John Brenner. “They have been an active member of the League’s Business Leaders Network and are always working to help local communities make wise financial decisions.” Wells Fargo received the award due to their long-standing banking relationships with communities and their businesses. Wells Fargo has also been highly involved in community development efforts in municipalities of all sizes. They also made it possible for The League to hold its 125th Anniversary Membership Appreciation Tour of the Districts this year, allowing The League to better engage with its membership.”

Wells Fargo Government Banking Relationship Manager Gloria J. Daudier, who accepted the award on behalf of Wells Fargo, has been an active member of the League’s Business Leaders Network this year and has been a tremendous advocate for the PML efforts. “At Wells Fargo, we take an intentional approach to strengthening local communities through housing access and affordability, small business growth and financial opportunity. Wells has been proud to serve Pennsylvania since 1863, and being able to collaborate with organizations that share these goals has been key to ensuring our efforts are as effective as possible,” said Daudier.

Wells Fargo continues to demonstrate its commitment to communities across Pennsylvania through a range of local initiatives. In York, volunteers joined a Habitat for Humanity home dedication, reinforcing Wells Fargo’s broader support for affordable housing. Most notably, the NeighborhoodLIFT program has returned to Philadelphia, helping new homebuyers access down payment assistance and financial education—bringing the dream of homeownership within reach for more residents. The program offers up to $15,000 in homebuyer assistance and financial education to help families purchase their first home. This initiative, in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia, AHCOPA, and RiseUp Fund, is expected to support around 260 first-time homebuyers by addressing barriers such as down payments, debt, and closing costs.

The League’s Business Leaders Network was established to promote the exchange of ideas between corporate leaders and the leaders of the Commonwealth’s communities, in order to strengthen local government, encourage economic competitiveness and promote corporate/civic engagement. Currently 30 members strong, membership is open to any business entity which is involved with and interested in preserving and reinvesting in the Commonwealth’s communities.

Previous Community Partnership Award recipients, include Cornerstone Wealth and Insurance, Comcast, Public Financial Management (PFM), Highmark, Verizon, Utility Service Partners, Maher Duessel, Ballard Spahr, Campbell Durrant, P.C., Constellation, Municipal Benefits Services, Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, AT&T, and Brown Plus.
