PennDOT has announced the opening of the NEVI Community Charging Funding Opportunity Round 2 – Western Region, which will invest $25 million of federal funding for EV charging stations in western Pennsylvania. See the press release for more details. Please see pa.gov/evcommunity for the full Western Region funding opportunity, additional resources (including the webinar registration), and the tentative schedule for the upcoming Central and Eastern regions.
The previously announced Southeastern Region funding opportunity is ongoing and will award $34 million to EV charging station projects in southeastern Pennsylvania. The eGrants system is now open to accept Southeastern Region proposals, and will close on August 21 at 5:00 PM EDT.
To facilitate the preparation of NEVI project proposals, any organization interested in being part of a NEVI project may complete the NEVI Interested Organizations Survey. Responses to this survey are shared publicly on PennDOT’s website at pa.gov/evcommunity via the “NEVI Interested Organizations Directory” link.
We need your help to spread the word about these one-time funding opportunities! Please use the NEVI Community Charging Flyer and/or the PennDOT NEVI Community Charging Summary Presentation slides to share this information with others.
