Position Description

Greenville, Pennsylvania, a Home Rule community (pop. 5,700) and home to Thiel College, seeks an innovative Borough Manager. The town is a remarkable turnaround story: once declared distressed, it is now fiscally stable, professionally run, and focused on economic advancement. The Council-Manager government grants successful candidates significant administrative authority.

The Manager oversees municipal services (Police, Fire, Public Works, Community Development) and engages with key boards: planning commission, redevelopment authority, airport, and intermunicipal partners.

Long range community, capital, and financial planning are a priority.  The borough is involved in significant redevelopment projects.  The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and will thrive in an environment where community development, fiscal health, resilience and project execution are the primary focus.

Qualifications

Candidates require a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or related (Master’s/MPA preferred) and 5+ years of progressive municipal management experience.
