Save The Date! The third annual US Mayoral Retreat is in Pittsburgh and will be held from August 5-7. The title of this years retreat is, Building and Maintaining Cohesive and Connected Cities in Times of Crisis and Division.

Advocacy
Last month, the House Housing and Community Development Committee passed a large package of bills to address the housing affordability crisis. Two of those bills, House Bill 2109 and House Bill 2186, would preempt local government zoning authority. Membership
The League’s Northwest District Meeting in Warren and the Southwest District Meeting in South Fayette happened this week. We had great meetings with a lot of idea-sharing on ways to better serve our communities. We appreciate the City of Warren and South Fayette Township hosting us! Our Playground Design Day for Autumnwood Park in Ferguson Township happened this weekend and was well attened! Giving kids a chance to draw their dream playground which will be used as inspiration for the final playground design! See below photos of the day.
