PennFIRS Transition Information

via PA Office of the State Fire Commissioner

We have some helpful information about the PennFIRS transition below to help fire departments understand the current status and identify next steps. Our website has additional detailed information including timelines, training videos and more.

All departments should have received an onboarding and account setup email from Emergency Networking (EN) prior to September 5th. If you did not receive an email, please fill out this form so EN can update your contact information and resend it. You can access and set up your department’s EN account using the instructions included in the email.

EN is holding onboarding calls every Monday at 3:00 p.m. and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Links to these calls can be found on the OSFC website.

Historical fire incident records have already been sent to the Commonwealth and are being imported into Emergency Networking for each department.

Departments who do not have a separate contract with ESO will no longer have access to Emergency Reporting after October 1st. If users wish to download their data out of the current system, they can export it using the following:

  • Occupancy: CSV via “+ Actions”
  • Contacts: Reports 732 & 885
  • Equipment: Report 808
  • Apparatus: Report 1280
  • Hydrants & Flow Tests: CSV downloads
  • Master Streets: Manual copy
  • Personnel: CSV in Admin module
  • Training Codes: Report 1505

If you have questions or require assistance, please use the contact form on our website and we will route it to the appropriate party.
