Position Summary
East Cocalico Township (pop. 10,950), Lancaster County, seeks an experienced and production-oriented leader to serve as its Public Works Director. The department maintains approximately 60 miles of roads, culverts and bridges, parks and open spaces, a community pool, and various public facilities. The successful candidate possesses integrity, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Must possess at minimum five years municipal public works experience, and/or commensurate infrastructure, land development, or similar experience in the private sector. Sound budgeting abilities, strong communication skills, and Microsoft application proficiency are a must. Must possess a CDL license, or obtain within six months of hire. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Salary is competitive, DOQ, with excellent benefits.
