Disaster Leadership Award Nominations

LeadersLink is a nonprofit that provides support and peer-to-peer mentoring to elected officials whose communities are impacted by disaster. LeadersLink is accepting nominations for its annual LeadersLink Disaster Leadership Award.

LeadersLink launched the award in 2019 to recognize a city or county elected official who led his or her community well through a natural or manmade disaster.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic it had to pause the program.  Its first recipient, drawn from the pool of nominees proposed that year, was Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox who we honored in 2022

Any Pennsylvania mayors or county leaders who you believe are deserving of recognition, please fill out the form online at LeadersLink’s website by August 11.
