Attendees will explore resources for local governments to activate Municipal Sustainability Teams that can strengthen connections among non-profit organizations, community-based organizations, local businesses and other local governments to advance quality of life and accomplish community goals.

The PA GreenGov Council will review the breadth and depth of teaming opportunities available to municipalities, and the PA Dept. of Environmental Protection will cover energy related topics for Municipal Sustainability Teams to consider. We’ll also be joined by the Department of Community and Economic Development to cover the Municipal Assistance Program which provides funding to advance intergovernmental approaches for a variety of needs.
