The National League of Cities (NLC) is hosting a Congressional Update on Rail Safety Webinar that is being held today from 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. This webinar is scheduled to provide an update on the Railway Safety Act of 2023 and a call to action. This legislation has bipartisan support, and we are hoping to get your support.
Local leaders, including League Past President Mayor Matt Pacifico, Altoona, will be joined by Senate Commerce Chair Maria Cantwell, Washington; Senator Sherrod Brown, Ohio; and Senator J. D. Vance, Ohio for this Rail Safety Legislation Update.
