New Formula Funding for Metro Areas for Carbon Pollution Reduction Planning: Through the new Carbon Pollution Reduction Grant program under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, large Metropolitan Statistical Areas will receive $1 million in formula funding to develop, update or evaluate metropolitan plans to reduce climate pollution.
