Now Open: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program:
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) is designed to assist states, local governments and Tribes in planning and implementing programs and policies to reduce energy use, reduce fossil fuel emissions and improve energy efficiency. 500+ Cities Get Federal Grants to Speed Up Safety Projects:
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced more than 500 local governments won awards in the first round of new Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grants. Learn More >
EPA Releases Program Guidance for Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund:
The Inflation Reduction Act created a $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund to leverage private capital for clean energy and clean air investments. EPA released the program implementation guidance for the fund, including the $7 billion Zero-Emissions Technology Fund, which is open to local governments.
