CITY OF LANCASTER CELEBRATES HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH WITH PUBLIC FESTIVAL

Live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities to take place in Binns Park and Ewell Plaza

LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 3, 2022 – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Lancaster will host a public celebration on Oct. 15 in Binns Park and Ewell Plaza. Experience culture, food, dancing, music, and community from 12 to 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Binns Park will host live music and a beer garden, with food vendors lining the 100 block of N. Queen St., and family-friendly activities taking place in Ewell Plaza.

The event will include a performance by Grammy-nominated artist Brenda K. Starr, plus other performances, and live dance demonstrations. The full performer lineup can be found at visitlancastercity.com/hhm.

The City of Lancaster will also announce the recipients of Hispanic Heritage Month Lifetime Achievement Awards. The recipients are individuals that have significantly impacted Lancaster City’s Hispanic community.
