Two SCOTUS Webinars

Source: State and Local Legal Center

The SLLC’s annual Supreme Court Review webinar is a month away. A lot is going to happen between now and then. This event features amazing speakers who will cover all the big cases of the term of interest to state and local government officials. It will also be recorded. This webinar is designed for lawyers and non-lawyers alike.  No continuing legal education (CLE) is offered (but if your state allows you to apply on your own I will provide the necessary paperwork!). The SLLC is also co-sponsoring another SCOTUS webinar on July 19 covering environmental cases. This event is also free and open to everyone. As appropriate, please promote these events far and wide.

From guns to abortion to countless First Amendment cases to a potentially big police case this U.S. Supreme Court term will long be remembered. Join Dan Bromberg, Pillsbury, who wrote the SLLC amicus brief in the Boston flag case, Roman Martinez, Latham & Watkins, who argued the police case, and Luke McCloud, Williams & Connolly, who also argued a case this term, in a discussion of the most interesting and important cases for states and local governments decided this term.
