Last week NLC introduced a new Safety First Challenge, an initiative to build a street safety coalition of 100 cities, towns and villages in 100 days to advance a safety first approach to transportation decisions. To join the challenge, local leaders can commit to taking at least one action to advance street safety in their community.

Listening Session: Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Clean School Bus Program
On Wednesday, December 15, 3:00-4:30 pm ET, EPA will host a listening session about the Clean School Bus Program in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This program will offer $5 billion over five years to replace older school buses with clean school buses that are zero-emission or use alternative fuels.
