The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency’s FEMA Disaster Mitigation Grants, called the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program will open on October 18, 2021.

AFTER reviewing the fact sheets below, PEMA documents and the Powerpoint slides on the grants and your jurisdiction meets the eligibility requirements, you can send in a Non-Contractual and REQUIRED Letter of INTENT (LOI) form to PEMA at RA-Shazmitoff@pa.gov .
All PEMA Phase 1 Letters of Interest must be sent to PEMA by COB, Friday, October 15, 2021.
All PEMA Phase 2 Letters of Interest must be sent to PEMA by COB, Friday, December 3, 2021.

PEMA has a word form-fillable document application on the website, however, we are working with the PA Department of Community and Economic Development to host an on-line web-based application. Wanted to get the word out on this grant opportunity expeditiously and will work with DCED to bring this other option on-line during the grant application period.
