The League’s Diversity\, Equity\, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) training helps local officials understand and address the diverse needs of their communities\, fostering trust and improving relationships with constituents. It provides a starting point to building skills to better develop policies that foster greater inclusion and equity\, ensuring fair treatment and opportunities for everyone – staff and constituents. \n\n\n\nYou will have the opportunity to reflect upon your experiences and apply the lessons in the modules in your own role. \n\n\n\nThe course is taught by Abe Amorós\, Deputy Executive Director for Operations & Chief Diversity Officer at The League.
