Grant Administrator – Bedford County

Position Summary

The Grant Administrator will research and present funding opportunities to support existing and planned County activities.  In coordination with departments, the individual will develop pre-award grant proposals, to align narratives, goals, and objectives with the grant specifications.  The GA will prepare reports throughout the grants’ cycles.  Ensuring all reports are completed timely and in accordance with grant specifications for federal, state, local and private funding sources.

  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree, or equivalent years of experience and training
  • Expertise with grant administration/project management preferred
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office and PDF software

The salary range is $50,000 – $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
