Position Summary
Upper Township is organized under the Township form of government, it is led by a five-member Township Committee elected at large with the Mayor appointed by the Committee from among its members. The Township Administrator is designated as the chief executive and administrative official of the municipal organization by ordinance.
Upper Township is inviting qualified applicants to apply to be Upper Township’s next administrator. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: exceptional verbal and written communication skills that foster collaboration, responsiveness and respect; knowledge and experience promoting economic development; experience building a strong professional organizational culture focused on excellence in customer service. The ideal candidate should also have experience guiding the redevelopment goals by the Committee and promoting well-balanced community development. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
