The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Commonwealth) announces that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) approved the Commonwealth’s implementation of the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2023 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP). The Commonwealth obligates 80% of the FFY2023 SLCGP, or $8,371,039 in federal funds, to support the four projects in the Commonwealth Cybersecurity Plan, which were approved by the Commonwealth’s Cybersecurity Planning Committee (Committee), FEMA and CISA.
You are receiving this communication based on your participation in the Commonwealth’s FFY2023 SLGCP outreach conducted in the past year. Your organization submitted a consent agreement allowing the Commonwealth to provide services to your organization for any of the projects/services outlined below.
Please note: If you participated in the FFY2022 grant application for Project 1 or Project 2, you will need to re-apply for those services under FFY2023 and apply for any new projects you would like to participate in.
Project 1 (Intrusion Detection Service – MS-ISAC Albert Sensors) shall be provided to all LGEs that participated in the Survey and indicated a desire to participate in the Albert Sensor Service.
Project 2 (Security Awareness Service – Cofense) shall be provided to all LGEs that participated in the Survey and indicated a desire to participate in the Cofense service.
Project 3 (Cyber Exposure Management and Asset Intelligence Platform – ARMIS) shall be provided on a priority bases to counties, then school districts/intermediate units and lastly municipalities, as funding as funding allows.
Project 4 (Vulnerability Management Solution – Tenable) shall be provided on a priority bases to counties, then school districts/intermediate units and lastly municipalities, as funding as funding allows.
Commonwealth’s Cybersecurity Planning Committee is announcing the opening of the electronic application platform, Electronic Single Application (ESA), for formal request with specific individual service needs for local entities.
