Position Summary

Borough Manager – Atglen Borough, located in semi-rural Western Chester County, PA, is accepting applications for the position of Borough Manager. This position serves as the Secretary and Treasurer. Full-time position, population 1400. Atglen Borough provides traditional local public services, public water service, and public sanitary sewer service. $2.6 million budget, 5 full time employees, 5 member Council and the Mayor. Current Manager is retiring after many years with the Borough. Seeking a forward-thinking leader, strong in accounting and financial skills, excellent organizational skills, values collaboration and encourages input from others, and strong communication skills. Applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in the public sector or a non-profit field.
