Come join our Team! Souderton Borough is hiring a Full-Time Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and management to a community that is deep in revitalization. We are seeking an individual who wants to work in conjunction with the Borough Manager to help guide and move the Borough forward towards a bright financial future. This is an exciting time to come onboard and make a difference in the community. The Manager is seeking someone that wants to work in collaboration to help plan for the future of the Borough. Souderton Borough has a population of about 7,200 but the Borough is truly becoming a destination with its variety of shops and restaurants and more to come. The total budget is about $5.6 million and is financially stable. The salary range is $90,000-$100,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience in municipal finance (preferably in PA), and thorough knowledge of public administration principles and practices, municipal government financial operations, intergovernmental operations, payroll and accounts payable functions and a proficiency with GAAP and GASB rules and guidelines. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Public or Business Administration or other related field required. MBA/MPA and GFOA Certified Financial Officer preferred but not required.
