The City of Cumberland will be accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Streets and Public Properties within the Department of Public Works.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 5 to 10 years of public works construction and maintenance experience. Three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
CLASS SUMMARY: Performs responsible supervisory and administrative work in directing the operations of the Street Department. Under general supervision, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all City roads, streets, alleys, parks and public properties.
