Executive Assistant – Ferguson Township

Position Summary

Ferguson Township has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant position. This position provides highly responsible and confidential administrative support to the Township Manager and works with the Assistant Township Manager and Human Resource Administrator in the overall administration of Ferguson Township operations to advance the Board of Supervisors priorities. Position requires a high level of professionalism and relies on experience, expertise and knowledge to exercise independent judgement to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures This position reports directly to the Township Manager and is responsible for the management of special projects as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Public or in a related field supplemented by three or more years of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must attend Basic Training for Municipal Secretaries and Administrators with three (3) years of hire date.  A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Township offers a competitive benefits package.
