Position Summary

East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified applicants for Township Manager. The Manager is the Township’s chief administrative officer and is responsible to the Board of Supervisors for the proper and efficient administration of the Township’s affairs including but not limited to the operation of all departments, purchasing and budgeting.  

Candidates should have a proven track record with experience in municipal and financial management, human resources, operations, capital planning, and economic development.  Candidates need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of municipal planning and zoning, water, streets, code enforcement, personnel. The ability to deal respectfully and responsively with the citizenry is of utmost importance. Employment is subject to acceptable criminal and driver’s background checks and the ability to be bondable up to $4.5 million.
