Franklin Township, York County, PA is seeking an organized, motivated, self-starting individual to serve as Township Secretary. The position is administrative in nature, and the candidate should possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. The employee is largely responsible for the maintenance and preservation of Township records, preparing the minutes of the meetings, website maintenance, and providing administrative support to the Supervisors, receiving and distributing official correspondence, advertising and filing all legal notices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal government as well as in office administration. The candidate shall have experience working with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. This position requires the mandatory attendance of agency meetings which are scheduled in the evening outside of normal working hours.
